Craig is co-founder and Board President of the Windy 25 Memorial Fund, a non-profit organization honoring the memory and sacrifice of the crew of Windy 25, who gave their lives in combat in Afghanistan.
Craig is a decorated veteran who left the Army in 2006, moving to Bend, Oregon after completing a successful Command assignment for F/159th Aviation Regiment “Big Windy” in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Craig is currently Vice President of Business Development for Resource Recycling Technologies (RRT), a metals recycling and trading company. Craig is also a veteran-owned, small business owner of RRT American Services, providing metal recycling services for the federal government.
Craig has extensive Strategic Planning experience and uses this as an advocate for veterans services and well-being, Craig volunteers his time with the VFW, the Wounded Warrior Project, the Patriots of Broken Top, and recently served as chief US fundraiser and logistics coordinator for The Gumpathon, a cross-country charity race for wounded servicemen and women from the US and the United Kingdom.
DAVID RAMSEY BOARD CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER
Dave is an 18-year active-duty veteran and a CH-47 D/F Instructor Pilot who served numerous tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. Dave was a member of the Big Windy team from 2005 through 2012.
Prior to attending flight school, Dave worked as a member of a Protective Services Detail that protected our Nation’s highest ranking military members. He is currently assigned to the Military District of Washington where he is a Government Flight Representative and a Contracting Officer. He is also a pilot of the Army’s newest helicopter, the UH-72 Lakota.
Dave is a full time student at the University of Maryland where he is pursuing an MBA. Dave currently lives in Washington D.C. where he supports various charities and clubs in the local area. He spends his off time running, biking, and enjoying life.
BROOKE HERGERT BOARD LOGISTICS DIRECTOR
Brooke is the Board Logistics Director for the Windy 25 Memorial Fund.
Brooke is a decorated Army Veteran who served in various positions in the Army, including as a pilot and Officer for F Company, 159th Aviation Regiment (Big Windy).
Brooke left active duty after completing a tour as Company Commander for an Aviation AIT unit at Ft. Eustis, Virginia. During her time on active duty she completed the Engineer Captains Career Course and also earned a Masters of Science in Civil Engineering. Following her Army career, she worked as a Civil Engineer and Project Manager for Navy Facilities Engineering Command in Norfolk, Virginia and San Diego, California. She is preparing to start at Dell Medical School at the University of Texas - Austin, in Summer 2017. Brooke enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, Owen and Jack.
SHANE HUBBARD BOARD OPERATIONS DIRECTOR
Shane completed multiple tours of combat duty while stationed in Germany with F Company, 159th Aviation Regiment "Big Windy". He worked as a crew chief and flight engineer on CH-47 Chinooks.
After completing his Army service, Shane and his wife Tippy, relocated to the Henderson, Nevada. They are avid travelers both to international and national locations.
Shane continues to work with Chinook Helicopters as a civilian for Columbia Helicopters.
